Ryan exemplifies all the qualities of a Hobey Baker recipient. He has character, loves the game, plays with sportsmanship and has persevered, coming back from significant injuries to play the past 2 seasons. He is a Co-Captain this season and team leader in all aspects on and off the ice. He is also strong academically with a 4.01 GPA and volunteers for many causes in the Grand Rapids area.
