This year’s Hobey Baker award winner goes to Stella Dolan, a Senior Captain for our CDH Girls Hockey Team. Stella has demonstrated her leadership through her work ethic and reputation for good sportsmanship through her respect for coaches, officials and fellow teammates. The pride Stella takes in her school, inspires her to create a welcoming environment for freshman and teammates alike. She doesn’t ask anymore of her teammates, than she asks of herself. She is selfless and always puts the best interest of the team first. Stella is a role model and is a positive mentor within the community. She spends time giving back and volunteering for CDH, through Link crew, which gives tours to incoming students and families. She also packs meals for feed my starving children, helps with local youth teams/learn to skates and works with the Wild’s Blind Hockey programs. Her commitment to her team, community and excellence make her this year’s award winner.
