Dear committee,

I am happy to nominate Aiden Hoffman for the 2020 Hobey Baker High School Character Award. Aiden has exhibited many great character traits fitting with this award and would be a wonderful representative. Aiden is one of those players who brings great skills but doesn’t put himself ahead of others. In his words I don’t want to be too selfish out there. As a coach, there are times, to achieve more wins, I wish he’d be more selfish. For instance, he passes to all teammates and celebrates their successes on ice. Off ice, he is often giving words of instruction or encouragement, in a constructive way. He has a great understanding of the game and gives me ideas of things that can help our team as well.

Please grant the 2020 Hobey Baker Character Award to this worthy candidate.
