Triangle Special Hockey | Cat 5 Canes | COED

Paul Ranta is an outgoing, enthusiastic young man who has a way of inspiring others around him. He has been playing hockey with the Triangle Special Hockey Association’s Cat 5 Canes team since 2011 and has also served as a mentor to some of the players. Paul is known by his coaches and teammates for being hard-working, positive, encouraging, and helpful. He always does what is asked of him and consistently demonstrates excellent sportsmanship. In spite of various challenges he has faced in his life, Paul has shown tremendous determination to achieve the goals he sets for himself. He is a senior at Southern Wake Academy in Holly Springs, NC where he is active in the Student Government Association. Paul has also earned his black belt in Tae Kwon Do, plays basketball with the Spirit League, is employed by a local grocery store (where he was recently voted Employee of the Month), and is an avid Carolina Hurricanes fan.
