Katherine played girls hockey and was severely injured during a hockey camp where she broke her spine and had major head trauma. She worked her way back from all of those injuries and convinced her parents to let her try out for the Boys Varsity team as a senior where she was selected based on her hard work ethic and desire to continue the game she loves.
