Last season we started the journey of being a Co-Op team. Mia was 1 of our first girls from a new school, and she instantly became an important member of this team. From day 1 she was respectful of all the girls and the coaches. She played the game with a passion and was a fantastic teammate. She was named Captain at the end of that season and was a wonderful leader this past season. She always led by example. A perfect demonstration of her leadership and commitment to team was early this season she broke her thumb during a game. She missed 2 months of our season, but she was at every practice and game, cheering on her team and willing them thru all our battles.
