Vinny Karam is an outstanding leader and teammate. He truly loves the game and sets a perfect example of great sportsmanship. As a mentor for everyone on the team, he is the first to highlight teammates successes and never criticizes them for mistakes. Even though he competes with the highest level of intensity, he is always smiling and never takes the game too seriously. Always respectful to coaches, officials, and opponents, Vinny is exactly the competitor any Coach would love to have on their team. Vinny Karam is most deserving of the 2019 Hobey Baker High School Character Award.
