John Mac Tambussi is a responsible, well-liked and diligent leader who enjoys working with others in academic and athletic endeavors. Mac has been a member of the rugby team and a four year hockey player. He was chosen Alternate an d Captain of the JV team junior and senior years respectively. He always works to be better and to make his teammates better. He listens to the coaches and works to the best of his ability to follow the instructions and be an example to his teammates.

Mac coordinated and oversaw the tutor your teammates program for the Prep hockey team this year. He also was a tutor to several underclassmen.

Off the ice/field Mac is a member of the Travis Manion Foundation which supports veterans transitioning out of the military, Gold Star families and the next generation of leaders.

For many years Mac has been involved in a YMCA afiliated camp as not only a camper but also a counselor. He received camps award for the core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility from 2008-2013.
