Anthony is being nominated for the 2019 Hobey Baker HS Character Award because of his endless hard work and commitment to our program and for his selfless attitude and coach-ability. Over the last 4 years of coaching Anthony, he has improved each time he stepped on the ice with us. He has a very knowledgeable hockey IQ and asks questions when needed. In the time we have known him, we have seen him score key goals, develop as a player and man, get selected to play in the Czech Republic, and earn the respect of his piers and teammates enough to earn a letter on his jersey.

Mr. LePera is a senior and an assistant captain of the ACES. He constantly elevates his teammates by his hard work and effort on the ice, at practices and in games. He is visibly one of the hardest working players on the ice and always possessing the puck. His hard work is accompanied by a very polite, respectful attitude on and off the ice. Anthony is a very professional young man who portrays confidence in everything he does.

Anthony also plays for the Valley Forge Minute Men program and is a scholar inside the classroom at Lower Merion High School. His hard work will surely be missed on our bench next season. We wish him the best in all his future endeavors.
