Christer displays excellent leadership qualities both on and off the ice. On the ice, Christer sets a great example of why he has been a two year captain by being one of the hardest workers in practice and in games. His passion for the game and work ethic day in and day out exemplifies what our program is about, which sets a great example for his teammates. Christer earns many minutes during each game, including being on the power play and penalty kill. His true competitive nature and leadership qualities provides an excellent example for his teammates, classmates, and younger hockey players in our community. In addition to his leadership on the ice, Christer also excels in the classroom as an Honor Roll student with a 4.19 Grade Point Average. Christer is a member of the E-Club and also a member of the National Honor Society, where he is an officer. Christer has volunteered in the community on a regular basis for many different organizations. His overall attitude and character make him a model student athlete, therefore and outstanding candidate for the Hobey Baker High School Character Award.
