Ryan Biskowitz exemplifies the attributes of the Hobey Baker award by demonstrating exceptional integrity and positive attitude, coachability, and sportsmanship. Ryan’s dedication to the game has earned him the respect of coaches and players. His competitive spirit is balanced with his sense of sportsmanship and awareness of what it means to be a teammate.

His leadership, integrity, and positive attitude have been invaluable to our program. Ryan had season ending knee surgery prior to the season, but did not allow this to keep him from the team. His locker room leadership demonstrated his love of the game as well as his team mates.

Ryan is a shining example of the intangibles involved with how the game of hockey should be played, and a young man whose good character will impact any community he is a part of in the future. It is the coaching staff’s honor to nominate Ryan Biskowitz for the 2019 Hobey Baker Award.
