Lauren is perhaps the sweetest and kindest kid I have ever coached. She was a senior captain for us this year and evolved to be our top defenseman. Lauren suffered a major tragedy this season when her mother passed away while in surgery. It was a very tough time for the whole team. After missing about a week she came back to the team and with the love of her teammates had an outstanding finish to her high school career. She is an exceptionally high character kid, and outstanding student and an outstanding person.
