Ben is a 3 year letter winner in varsity hockey and current assistant captain of the team. He is an honor roll student and apart from hockey, he is a member of the boys soccer and tennis teams. He is a member of NHS, Model UN and the yearbook staff. After high school, Ben plans to attend Butler University to major in business. He has been a relentless player and hard worker throughout his hockey career. Ben was an integral part of the defensive squad that only averaged around 20 shots per game from its opponents. It is because of this as well as his membership in several voluntary groups as to why he is deserving of the Hobey Baker Award.
