Just like Hobey Baker, Quinn put the team before herself. For example, she switched positions as needed to help fill the team’s needs. She helped continue a Little Sister program to mentor the new girls. As a senior, she helped lead us through community programs that partnered with elementary school girls to teach them to skate, raised $3000 for cancer research, donated blankets to the Ronald McDonald House, donated library books to a St. Paul School, and bagged food for Feed My Starving Children. She was a role model in the classroom and out. Her hard work, determination and character helped us get through a tough season.
