Nolan has a passion for the game, the program and his teammates which sets him apart (with respect to the award’s guidelines) from other potential candidates. It’s not that the others don’t care but it’s just that Nolan cares more. He is the first in the locker room and the last one to leave every day. He can be counted on by coaches and players. Nolan is a hard worker on the ice and off. Over the last two years he’s developed a noticeable confidence and has become a joy to coach.
