Jared is the poster child for everything this award stands for. Jared is a 4 year Varsity hockey player and Captain (as voted by his peers) the past 2 seasons. As coaches we could not be more proud of this young man. He has truly helped make our program better on and off the ice. He undoubtedly cares more about the name on the front than the name on the back. He is an elite talent, who is an integral piece of the overall success of our team, but he worries only about the accomplishments of the team instead of his own. He is a fantastic student athlete who has incredible time management skills. He is a 3 sport Varsity athlete who excels not only in athletic competition, but in the classroom as well. He has a hefty schedule between school and sports and still finds time for volunteer efforts while also retaining 2 jobs. He is looked up to by his teammates and coaches alike. He will be missed dearly next season, but we are grateful for the time we had him in our program.
