Marisa is a class act. She is a senior goaltender on our JV team that has won her last 30 starts. She was upset after tryouts when she was notified about not making the Varsity squad. However, she quickly got over it and took it upon herself to be the best leader she could be on JV. The girls voted her JV captain 2 weeks later. She has showed up for all of the additional goalie training and has helped out Varsity in practice multiple times. Beyond being a team player, she is super competitive. She brings her best game to the rink every day and the team follows her lead. Marisa is a great leader by example. She gives her best effort every day. She is always smiling and lifting teammates up.
