Kam is a leader who understands the privilege it is to be a high school hockey player in Minnesota, and truly loves his role as an assistant captain as a Scarlet. Kam sets the tone with his effort and speed in practice, making sure guys know that the purpose of the day is hard work and improvement, and that the time for slacking or goofing around is with teammates off the ice. He’s an exceptionally hard worker. Never have to question his effort, it’s 100% always.

Kam embodies everything it means to be a Mankato West Scarlet. Kam was a lead in the student section for fall sports, front and center for soccer, football, and volleyball games, and proudly represents the Mankato West community in the Greater Mankato community. He never wanted his time as a Scarlet to end, and stressed the importance of how fast it really goes to assure his teammates understand the importance of the short time they have together.
