Adam is a lead by example hockey player and was nominated by his peers to be team captain for the 2017-2018 season. He consistently set a pace for the team with a complete skill set, hockey sense, situational awareness and team play. His attitude, work ethic and sportsmanship have been a complement to the Severna Park High School Hockey Program. Adam was the goal leader for the team even though being sidelined for part of the season with a lower leg injury. As an member of both the power play and penalty kill units, he earned the description of a work horse with the coaching staff. Away from the ice sheet Mr. Meyer has worked to carry a 3.4 GPA, is also a member of The Leadership Institute, volunteers with the Make a Wish Foundation as well as The Baltimore Humane Society. In closing Adam Meyer is an Athlete, Scholar, Animal Lover, Philanthropist, Hockey Player and Teammate and well deserving of the award recognizing greatness amongst his hockey family.
