Joey Lipsich
2018 | Florida | BOYS
Spanish River/West Boca Hockey Club | Bull Sharks | BOYS
For the past four seasons, I have had the honor and privilege to coach Joey Lipsich on the Bull Sharks Ice Hockey team. Joey, who has just completed his 4th and final year on the team, has been a leader on the team since his Freshman year, both on and off the ice, He served as the Team Captain this past season, as a testament to his leadership skills and character, and was was selected to the FPSHL Leadership Academy, the past two seasons,
Clearly, leadership and character is developed, and groomed with a great family environment, and Joey comes from a wonderful family, who has helped guide him in the right direction.
Not only does Joey excel in school as an outstanding, gifted student, he he is the 2018 Class President at Spanish River and was selected as Mr. Spanish River. Joey is polite, hard working, respectful to his coaches, and fellow teammates. He leads by example, on and off the ice, and is truly a pleasure to coach.
Therefore, it is without any hesitation or reservation that I highly recommend Joey for this year’s Hobey Baker Character Award. I can’t think of a more worthy or qualified candidate from our team, He embodies and exemplifies the player and individual who is deserving of this honor.
