Ronan is a senior Alternate Captain for the varsity AAA team. During the 2017-2018 season he has tallied 21 points from 15 goals ad 6 assists in 15 league games. He is also rostered on the U18 Valley Forge Minutemen.
Ronan demonstrates a high level of character on and off the ice as a leader and a volunteer. As part of the prep hockey team, Ronan schedules tutors for player in need within the hockey club. In addition he gives freely of his time in tutoring teammates.
Ronan was also selected to participate in the Travis Manion Foundation Leadership Academy. The TMF pairs veterans of recent wars with participants in a leadership academy which is the first of its kind in the nation. The acadmeny , develops students’ identities as leaders and their understanding of virtues-based leadership. The participants also work side by side veterans in service events across the city in honor of the fallen.
Ronan also volunteers his time on the Prep yearbook and is an editor of the school newspaper.
