Jack has demonstrated a passion and desire for the game of hockey. He does this not only by the way he plays but also by the way he is with his teammates off the ice. Jack leads by example on the ice by skating hard and being extremely tough, mentally and physically; he plays through any hardship. Jack is a leader off the ice because he is the first person to help the younger teammates adjust to games and practice, he keeps the team’s spirits up and helps focus them each day. Jack’s is not only a leader and great teammate, but he also runs his landscaping business. However, he never lets the pressure of work and performing at a high level get the best of him, he is always positive, upbeat, and has a can-do attitude.
