Voted by his teammates as team captain, Griffin has been the heart and soul of the Centerville Elks hockey team. In addition to being a 1st Team All Conference player, Griffin’s leadership has been on full display since the team first began summer workouts in June. Whether during a practice or game, Griffin always gives his absolute best effort and is a relentless source of encouragement for his teammates. Additionally, Griffin’s humble and hard-working approach allowed him to quickly earn the trust and respect off not only his teammates, but also the coaching staff. This credibility enabled him to hold his teammates accountable when team standards were not met. Simply put, Griffin not only talked the talk, but also walked the walk during every moment of the 2017-2018 season.
