We are very happy to nominate Gina Wensloff as our 2017-18 Hobey Baker nominee. Besides being a gifted multi-sport athlete, Gina is also excellent student and a leader among her peers. Gina competes hard on the ice but always exemplifies the qualities of sportsmanship and character. Because she has earned the respect and admiration of her peers and her coaches, she was selected as one of our team captains for this season and has done an excellent job in that important role. Gina has competed in three different MSHSL state tournaments: hockey, volleyball, and golf. Away from the rink, Gina is involved in student council, team EPIC, National Honor Society, her church youth group and as a Sunday School teacher. Gina is a very respected leader in our high school, a very worthy recipient of the Hobey Baker award and a student/athlete that we are very proud to call our own.
